In this week's episode:
"Donald John President"

Thursday night, from the stage of the Republican National Convention–also known as the south lawn of the White House–President Trump made his case for four more years. His speech largly focused on demonizing his opponent, former Vice President and Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

Trump's remarks capped the four-day, mostly virtual RNC. For the most part, Republicans such as Central Ohio congressman Jim Jordan predicted mayhem if Americans elects Biden.

Jordan's speech was filled with dubious accusations. Joe Biden and Democrats do not support looting, rioting, confiscating guns or preventing people from worshiping–except during a pandemic, when packing churches can, you know, kill people.

Impeach Overreach

Four members of the Ohio House have filed articles of impeachment against Republican Gov. Mike DeWine. State Reps John Becker, Candice Keller, Nino Vitale and Paul Zeltwanger say DeWine should be removed from office because of his stay-at-home orders during the COVID-19 pandemic.

DeWine says he's trying to save lives and keep the economy going. And based on the big grin on his face when he was asked about it, he's not concerned.

Snollygoster Of The Week: Kimberly Guilfoyle

Kimberly Guilfoyle, former Fox News commentator, girlfriend of Donald Trump Jr. and advisor to the president gave a meme-worthy performance during the RNC.

One standout moment was her poetic description of California. She described it as a place of immense wealth, immeasurable innovation and an immaculate environment that had been transformed by Democrats "into a land of discarded heroin needles in parks, riots in streets and blackouts in homes."
